ACLU and EFF Host Digital Freedom Panel "Privacy in the Digital Age"

The American Civil Liberties Union and the Electronic Frontier Foundation, two of America's most courageous defenders of Human Rights and Digital Freedoms, will be hosting a Public Forum on "Privacy in the Digital Age".

Panelists:
Brian Alseth, Technology and Liberty Project Director, ACLU of Washington
Seth David Schoen, Senior Staff Technologist, Electronic Frontier Foundation

The panelists will discuss:
Does privacy still exist in a the digital age? Do people still have a sense of or a desire for privacy. If so, is this still possible?
Included in the discussion will be consideration of the various ways in which we are tracked unwittingly and the security vulnerabilities all data systems face.
In addition, the panelists will discuss limitations in current privacy laws and policies and opportunities for the future.
